WAYNE COUNTY, PA — Get ready to unleash your inner artist as part of a new art project, titled “Paint the Town,” courtesy of the Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA).
The WCAA has teamed up with the Downtown Hawley Partnership and the Foundation for Harmony Presents to launch “Paint the Town.” The grand plan? Beautiful banners bedecked with original artwork from local creatives.
Artworks will be proudly displayed on poles throughout Hawley, mostly along Main Avenue.
The WCAA is asking artists to submit digital images of their artwork for consideration.
The group is seeking a variety of artistic styles and subject matter.
Artists are asked to submit up to three images per artist for consideration. Submissions must include full contact information including name, phone number and email address. Submissions that do not follow all guidelines will not be considered.
Send images via email to waynecountyartsalliance@gmail.com. Include Paint the Town in the subject line.
The deadline for entries is January 20, 2024. Selections will be announced soon afterward and the banners are scheduled to be installed in April 2024.
