HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania State Police is inviting the public to comment on its delivery of safety services.
Comments can be commendations for good performance, suggestions for improvement or concerns. They can be posted on the Accreditation Public Comment Portal at calea.org.
This public comment period is required for the state police’s accreditation review by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), a nonprofit, non-governmental organization that ensures public safety agencies are abiding by current best practices.
The Pennsylvania State Police was initially accredited by CALEA in 1993.
