Betty M. Baum, 88, of Shohola, PA, passed away on Aug. 19, 2021, at Milford Senior Care and Rehab, Milford, PA. She worked as a custodian for Shohola Elementary, Shohola, PA and often volunteered her time to help the Shohola Township Fire Department.

Betty was a member of the Shohola Ladies Auxiliary; a lifetime member of the Milford American Legion and the Lackawaxen Ladies Auxiliary, Lackawaxen, PA.

The daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Myers, she was born on July 16, 1933, in Cortland, NY. She was married to Clarence Baum, who preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by her son, Philip Baum; grandson, Philip Baum Jr.; great-grandchildren, Austin and Brandon Baum and sisters, Thelma Powers and Edna Spencer.

Betty was preceded in death by her son, James Baum.

Friends called at the Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on August 24. Funeral services followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Keith Raser officiating.

Burial was at German Hill Cemetery, Shohola, PA.
