Rosemary Anderson

Rosemary Anderson, a longtime area resident, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 69.

Funeral services were at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St., Liberty. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Middletown, NY.

Lauren Decker

Lauren Decker of Dingmans Ferry, PA died Sunday, November 25, 2012. He was 76.

Memorial donations may be made to a hospice or cancer research fund.

Linda J. Dirie of Youngsville, NY, a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Roscoe Rehab & Nursing Center, Roscoe, NY, after a long illness. She was 61.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, NY, with Virginia Bossley officiating.

Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Youngsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Reformed Church of Youngsville or to the Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church.

Charles W. Flynn

Charles W. Flynn of Honesdale, PA, died on November 26, 2012 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was 86.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, November 30 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Honesdale.

Interment followed with full military honors at St. John’s Cemetery, Erie St., Honesdale.

Jean L. Hoffman

Jean L. Hoffman, a lifelong resident of North Branch, NY, entered into eternal rest on December 1, 2012 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 69.

Friends may call Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, NY.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the North Branch Methodist Cemetery.

Al Huber

Al Huber, a former resident of Damascus, PA, peacefully passed away on November 23, with family members around him.

Al’s entire life exemplified his philosophy of giving from the heart. Always extraordinarily generous of spirit, he directed that his body be donated to a medical school for research to benefit others.

Because he preferred never to be in the limelight, Al requested that there be no memorial service. The family will gather privately to reminisce and celebrate his life.

Margaret Jenks

Margaret Jenks, a lifetime resident of Port Jervis, NY passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at home, with her family by her side. She was 84.

Prayers were offered Friday, November 30 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, followed by a mass of Christian burial at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Port Jervis. Rev. George Hafemann was the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis.

Ralph Skinner

Ralph Skinner of Honesdale, PA, died Saturday evening, December 1, 2012 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale after an illness. He was 92.

Funeral services and Christian burial were held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.

Interment was Wednesday in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Honesdale.
