ALBANY, NY — The New York State Department of Labor offers a variety of services designed to help veterans find a new career path. 

The department expedites services to veterans and eligible significant others, giving them priority for qualified jobs and training. The department also employs veterans to reach out to disabled veterans. It has assisted over 9,000 veterans with career services so far this year.
