Food Security Coalition has stepped up to help—and so can you

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — All can help provide hygiene products for Sullivan County neighbors.

The Sullivan Catskills Food Security Coalition is sponsoring a county-wide hygiene supply drive.

Items being donated must be new, unused and unexpired. Hygiene items being accepted include toothbrushes; toothpaste; soap, shampoo and conditioner for all hair types; curl-hydrating and conditioning creams; sprays and oils; deodorant; toilet paper; feminine hygiene products; razors; shaving cream; baby wipes; and so on.

Items will be collected until Wednesday, January 17.

Several hygiene supply drive boxes, for the collection of hygiene items, have been placed at the following locations: 

Action Toward Independence, 309 E. Broadway, Monticello, NY

Callicoon Farmers’ Market, A. Dorrer Dr., Callicoon, NY

Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County, 64 Ferndale-Loomis Rd., Liberty, NY

CVI Building, One Cablevision Center Dr., Liberty, NY

Kauneonga Lake Post Office, 3584 State Rte. 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY

St. John’s Episcopal Church, 15 St. John St., Monticello, NY

Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North St., Monticello, NY

The Tavern at the Arnold House, 839 Shandelee Rd., Livingston Manor, NY

At the conclusion of the drive, items collected will be distributed to food pantries throughout Sullivan County to be given to Sullivan County residents in need of those items.
