HONESDALE, PA — Gene Maslar’s photos of nature, taken in Northeastern PA, will be on exhibit at ReMax Wayne until October 31. 

A reception open to the public will be held Sunday, August 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Maslar became interested in photography as a student at Olyphant Junior High School, and kept it up when his day job (as an electronics and computer specialist for the Department of Defense) sent him around the U.S. and to foreign countries. 

Although he photographed everything from weddings to sports, nature and wildlife photography were a particular love. He and his family returned over and over to the Upper Delaware to chronicle the bald eagles on film.
