Learn about Sullivan County’s rich history

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Nine museums will offer discounts, free admission, tours, giveaways and prizes to all Sullivan County residents who visit on Saturday and Sunday, July 29 and 30, as part of the first annual Museum Weekend.

It’s a chance for all to explore the county’s long and rich history.

“This collaboration provides a wonderful opportunity for residents to engage with their county’s diverse and fascinating history,” said Donna Steffens, Director of the Time and the Valleys Museum.

Participating museums include the Basket Historical Society in Long Eddy, the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum in Livingston Manor, the D&H Canal Interpretive Center in Summitville, the Frederick Cook Society in Hurleyville, Fort Delaware in Narrowsburg, the Old Stone House in Hasbrouck, the Sullivan County Historical Society in Hurleyville, the Ten Mile River Scout Museum in Narrowsburg and Time and the Valleys Museum in Grahamsville.
