MILFORD, PA — Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak sentenced Dan Michael Daly, age 40, of South Orange, NJ, to 6 years to 12 years in a state correctional facility and fined $1,000.00 for 2 counts of the crime of Sexual Abuse of Children on October 6, 2023. The Pike County District Attorney’s Office Criminal Investigation Division investigated a cyber tip which revealed Daly had downloaded child sexual abuse material with children under the age of 10 years old and disseminated the images, and videos to others through the use of the internet between October 26, 2022, and November 29, 2022, at a residence in Lehman Township. As part of the punishment handed down to Daly, Daly will be restricted from working at or frequenting places where children under the age of 18 are known to congregate and will be required to register as a Tier II Sex Offender in accordance with the Adam Walsh Act.
