Radio Catskill has announced the addition of another hour of jazz programming. "Jazz Night in America" will join the station's lineup on Sunday, October 6 at 8 p.m.
Hosted by Grammy Award-winning musician Christian McBride, "Jazz Night in America" features storytelling and concert performances, connecting jazz enthusiasts and potential new fans with artists and venues—and each other—through weekly, one-hour broadcasts.
Jazz Night in America is produced by NPR Music, WBGO-Newark, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.
"Return to The Source," the traditional jazz program hosted by Douglas Turner, moves to 9 p.m. Sundays and "Ambient Barn," the locally produced electronic music show from Mark Partridge, moves to Friday nights at midnight, after The Deep End.
