LAKE ARIEL, PA — Learn about hidden plant diversity present in the sleeping winter landscape during “Winter Weeds and Skeletons,” a program to be held at Lacawac Sanctuary on Saturday, February 10 at 10 a.m. Registration ends that day.
Participants will learn to identify plants during the winter season, and to recognize and categorize various plant species when visual clues are less prominent.
Each participant will receive their own field guide.
The sanctuary asks that participants be prepared and dress to be outside for part of the program.
Lacawac Sanctuary is located at 94 Sanctuary Rd.
Space is limited and registration is required.
