PROMPTON, PA — Join the Delaware Highlands Conservancy (DHC) and Heather Houskeeper, the Botanical Hiker, for a workshop on plant identification on Saturday, October 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Prompton State Park, located on West Shore Road. 

Attendees will learn how to confidently identify wild herbaceous plants using a plant identification key and loupe magnifier, and will learn basic botanical terms and plant morphology. 

The skills help you choose which plants to keep and which to weed out, are essential when working with edible and medicinal plants and much more.

The event fee is $20 for DHC members or graduates of the Women and Their Woods classes, or $30 for non-members.
