HONESDALE, PA — Members of the Honesdale High School (HHS) Holiday Lights program recently presented donations to several community organizations.
This year’s recipients included the Wayne County Food Pantry, Victims Intervention Program, the Honesdale Emergency Food Pantry and the Motherly Grace Essentials Drive.
“Thanks to our community, it was another successful year for the Holiday Light Show,” said advisors Shawn Garing, William Sievers and Joseph Macey. “Community support for our show grows every year, and this year was no different. Patrons have come to expect the annual show and it has become a part of their holiday traditions.
“We put on the light show for the community and we feel it’s important for the donations to go right back to local organizations in the community,” the trio continued.
Work has already begun on next year’s light show.
