‘Groove Port’ continues

PORT JERVIS, NY — Music series “Groove Port” continues with drummer Karl Latham at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 19 at the UpFront Exhibition Space.
Latham, who is based in Warwick, has performed all over the globe, and recorded and produced with award-winning artists and a multitude of internationally acclaimed musicians. He is included in the “Drummerworld” Top Drummers list.
In addition to performing as a freelance drummer, he leads his own group, Living Standards, playing with saxophonist/composer Don Braden and is co-leader with Ryan Carniaux and Mark Egan of the group “Constellations.”
Latham is also a private drum instructor and an adjunct music instructor at Drew University, County College of Morris and Passaic County Community College.
The gallery opens at 1p.m. for viewing the current art show and will be open until the concert begins.
Tickets at the door cost $20.
The UpFront Exhibition Center is located at 31 Jersey Ave.
