FORESTBURGH, NY — The Forestburgh Playhouse will introduce a group of talented local teens who will be performing alongside Playhouse professionals in the musical comedy “The Prom.” The rising teen stars, who hail from the Sullivan Catskills and surrounding counties, will be a part of the Promsemble.
“The Prom” is a musical that follows four Broadway stars on a mission to change the world and the love they discover. They join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens to create a prom for everyone.
The members of the Promsemble are Vivienne Christe, Maddie Lijoi, Abigail Straebler, Luke Robinholt, Nathan Desrochers, Daniel Solano, Emily Ducey, Grace Ward, Kenzie Krier, Meghan Escobar, Shea-Leigh Kristiansen, Sophia Gago, Lilly Soto and Emmett Schwalb.
“The Prom” opened on July 16 and runs until Sunday, July 28. Performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.
