ROSENDALE, NY — Part inspirational, part educational, Bevival’s Dying to Know Film Festival takes place on August 11-27 at the Rosendale Theatre in Ulster County.

Described as a call to action given the Hudson Valley’s aging population, the festival brings “filmmakers, experts, resources and audiences together to help jump-start one of life’s most challenging conversations,” organizers said.

The lineup includes films, documentaries, animation and storytelling performances on caregiving, culture, rituals and more.

Mario Garrett, Ph.D., author and founder of San Diego’s Coming of Age Film Festival will co-host with executive producer Caren Martineau.

Ticket costs vary. For more information, visit www.rosendaletheatre.org.
