LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — All are invited to join Sullivan County Historian John Conway for spooky stories from local lore at the Livingston Manor Library on Thursday, October 17 at 5:30 p.m.
Conway is an internationally recognized, award-winning historian and historiographer. He has been the official Sullivan County Historian since 1993, has written nine books and frequent lectures in the area.
The stories he will share will blend history with the horrifying. Take heed of Conway’s warning, “Not all Sullivan County ghost stories are fictional.”
These tales of ethereal spirits, restless specters, and the beyond will not only bring you in touch with the annals of local history, but with the chills and thrills of the season.
Space is limited and registration is recommended. Call the library at 845/439-5440 or email LivingstonManorLibrary@rcls.org to sign up.
