WASHINGTON, D.C. — As the April 15 tax filing deadline nears, taxpayers can leverage President Biden’s clean energy plan for financial benefits.
This historic initiative offers tax credits and rebates for adopting energy-efficient solutions. Eligible taxpayers can save on electric vehicles, solar installations, and energy-efficient home upgrades.
Key tax credits are as follows:
• Home energy audit: Identify energy inefficiencies and use tax credits for improvements.
• Energy-efficient upgrades: Earn credits for installing efficient appliances, heat pumps, and more.
• Solar and renewable energy: Incentives for installing solar panels or other renewable energy systems.
• Electric vehicles: Credits for buying new or used electric cars, trucks, or SUVs, and installing home EV chargers, especially in rural or low-income areas.
These measures aim to boost energy efficiency and support the transition to a cleaner energy future while providing financial relief to taxpayers.
