SYRACUSE, NY — While we’re talking fairs: Tickets are now on sale for the New York State Fair, which runs from Wednesday, August 23 to Monday, September 4.

Buy tickets at nysfair.ny.gov, over the phone by calling 800/514-3849 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., or at the gate. Prices vary from $6 to $20. Tuesday, August 29 offers $2 rides and Monday, September 4 offers $1 rides. Admission is free for those 65 years and older or 12 years and younger.

Fair admission also includes the ability to watch every performance in the Chevrolet Music Series, including Lainey Wilson, Ludacris, Tyler Hubbard and Salt-N-Pepa.
