KINGSTON, NY — Around 150 Hudson Valley residents gathered outside the office of U.S. Rep. Pat Ryan (D-NY-18) in Kingston to demand his support for an immediate arms embargo of Israel. They marched with banners and signs saying “Not Another Bomb” and urged an end to the war in Gaza.

Activists warned that their support could be influenced by the Congressman’s stance on the issue.

The Uncommitted National Movement condemned Israel and called for an immediate arms embargo to save lives.

Participants urged Ryan and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris to take a decisive stance.

The rally was sponsored by the Uncommitted National Movement in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace Hudson Valley, Mid-Hudson Valley Democratic Socialists of America, Mid-Hudson Islamic Community, Communist Party USA Hudson Valley, Rally Middletown, Beacon Climate Action Now, and the Beacon Ceasefire Coalition.
