WOODRIDGE, NY — Join in the celebration at the fourth annual Fallsburg Fall Festival, taking place on Saturday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Green Avenue in the Village of Woodridge.
There will be food, craft and yard sale vendors as well as information booths from many local agencies. There will be games, crafts and prizes for the youngsters, as well as live entertainment to get you dancing.
A Hula-Hoop® contest will be held at 12 noon; there will be categories for children and adults. No outside Hula Hoops® allowed—organizers will supply the hoops.
Next day, the Duck Race
In addition, Patrick McDuck, among others, will be selling Duck Race tickets for the festivities at Morningside Park in Hurleyville. The fun starts at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 22. Children aged one to 12 could win a prize if they enter the Duck Costume Contest at the race. It doesn’t have to be an elaborate costume—just have some fun with it, organizers said.
Organizers thanked the sponsors of the festival: Jeff Bank, Murray’s Chicken, Mountain Service Distributors, Colonial Memorial Funeral Homes and Catskill Hudson Bank.
