NARROWSBURG, NY — On Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, at around 12 noon, Fort Delaware will be under attack by Queen Esther’s Refugees on the Warpath, a mid-to-late 18th-century living history group.
Queen Esther’s Refugees specialize in reenacting the lives of frontier people who faced persecution from the encroachment into the Wyoming Valley by what they regarded as the Connecticut Intruders.
Will the settlers be able to defend themselves? You’ll have to come see the action to find out.
In addition, Fort Delaware will close at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 for the annual commemoration of the Battle of Minisink at Minisink Battleground Park, which starts at 4 p.m.
