FORESTBURGH, NY — “Matilda: The Musical” is opening at the Forestburgh Playhouse on Tuesday, July 18 at 8 p.m.

Luli Mitchell stars as Matilda, and joining her is a multitude of young actors from Sullivan County and the surrounding area.

The performers include Joey Getze (Bruce), Bella Koljenovic (Lavender), Nicolas Ciorciari (Michael), Grace Ward (Amanda), Luis Mikal Sanchez (Nigel), Luke Robinholt (Eric), Polly Juergens (Alice), Sophia Gago (Hortensia) and Tera Ward (Tammy). Kenzie Krier and Emily Ducey are the Ensemble.

Helmed by Playhouse alum Roque Berlanga as the director and featuring choreography by Tiger Brown, the musical promises to be an extraordinary theatrical experience.

Performances will run from Tuesday, July 18 to Sunday July 30, with shows taking place on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., as well as matinee performances on Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.
