DINGMANS FERRY, PA — Learn about the edible and medicinal plants in our region at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 13 at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC).
Heather Houskeeper, the Botanical Hiker, will lead the tour and will share tips for positive identification, methods for sustainable harvest and practical ways to work with these plants for food and medicine.
The pace of the walk will be easy to moderate, with many stops along the way. It is appropriate for all ages. Feel free to bring a notepad or use your phone to jot down notes!
No collecting will be done on the walk or on PEEC’s grounds.
The cost is $15 per person.
