HONESDALE, PA — The Women’s Club of Honesdale will hold its 60th Art and Antiques Show and Sale on Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14 in the fully air-conditioned Wayne Highlands Middle School.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 13; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday July 14.

Club members have lined up artists, authors and antique dealers along with live demonstrations and appraisal services—not to mention the famous pie.

This year a cookbook of club refreshments—plus some pie and quiche recipes—will be available.

In addition, several artist members will share and sell their work.

As always, all proceeds from the show are given back to the community as monetary donations—and by funding scholarships for local high school seniors.

The artists include returning regulars such as Ron Orlando, Christine Bachtel and Jan Marie Traynor from the Spirit of Gentleness Farms and Mountain Man Arts, Charlie Lang. Katie O’Neill of Paper Moon Origami will also be there, as will Stephanie Marquette of Westwind Jewelry. Art Lynch from Works of Art, Tammy Budnovitch of Pysanky by Tammy and Robert McGuigan of Golden Bird Art will also be present.

Visitors can also meet local authors, who will sell and sign their books. The authors include Will Wyckoff, Tom Lubben, Deborah Bailey and Stephanie Matolyak, Christina Lang, Roberta Griffis, Mike Gadomski and Nora Weirich.

Restorers include Hillary Anthony (books), Harry DeVrieze (caning, rushing and upholstery) and Andy Trout (furniture).

Maggie Winchester will be available again to appraise items brought in, each item $5 with a limit of five items per person.

The Wayne Highlands Middle School is located at 482 Grove St. Parking is free in the lot behind the school near the covered stairway.
