HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Coroner's office was dispatched on Saturday, March 18 at 9:07 a.m. to an address on Silkmans Road, Lake Township where a deceased male was discovered in the waters of Lake Henry.
It was established that at approximately 1 a.m., multiple adolescent males entered the water in a boat from a residential location on the shore of Lake Henry, near the intersection of East Island Lane and Silkmans Road. Reportedly, the boat capsized causing the three males to enter the water. 911 was called and search and rescue efforts began. The decedent was located in the water at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Wayne County Coroner Edward R. Howell arrived on the scene at 10:01 a.m. and pronounced Dominic J. Testani, 18, of Doylestown dead at the scene at 10:02 AM.
This investigation is ongoing. An autopsy was planned for Monday, March 20. Conclusive details will be released when established.
