Dawn Elizabeth Luckey Carlin, 73, formerly of Kenoza Lake, NY, passed away August 20, 2022. Dawn was born in December 1948. The funeral service was held August 25 at the Kenoza Lake Methodist Church. Burial followed in the Kenoza Lake Cemetery in Kenoza Lake.
Joseph Curreri, 90, of Beach Lake, PA, passed away August 22, 2022 at Hospice Center in Scranton, PA. Joseph was born September 15, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. A graveside service and burial were held August 25 at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Narrowsburg, NY.
Jeanette DeVita, 88, of Wantage, NJ, passed away August 24, 2022 at home. Jeanette was born October 16, 1933. Funeral services were held August 29 at the Pinkel Funeral Home in Sussex, NJ. Interment followed at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson, NJ.
James Alfred Dunn, 80, of Maine and formerly of Honesdale, PA, passed away August 16, 2022 at the VA Togus Springs hospice in Augusta, ME. James was born April 18, 1942 in Honesdale. A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 9 at the Indian Orchard Cemetery, Texas Palmyra Highway, Honesdale. Military honors will be presented for his service to our country. A celebration of life will follow from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Central United Methodist Church Wesley Room, 205 11th St. in Honesdale.
Jean C. Johnson, 87, of Narrowsburg’s original Lucky Lake community and Manhattan, NY, passed away July 25, 2022. A Christian funeral was held on August 4 in Manhattan and interment was held at New Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
Marvin Price, 73, of Tyler Hill, PA, passed away August 6, 2022 at home. Marvin was born January 15, 1949 in Honesdale, PA. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 8 at 2 p.m. at the Swago Hunting Club, 105 Steiner Rd., Damascus, PA.
Jason Allen Reed Jr., 22, passed away August 19, 2022. A memorial gathering took place August 27 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home in Port Jervis, NY.
Curtis J. Sommers, 81, of Yulan, NY, passed away on August 25, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris, NY. Curtis was born May 18, 1941 in Flushing, NY. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home, 3412 Rte. 97 in Barryville, NY. Another visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 2. A Mass of Christian burial will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Yulan. Burial of Curt’s cremains will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Eldred, NY.
