Patricia “Patsy” Racht Christopher of Honesdale, PA, passed away December 30, 2022 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA. Patricia was born in Honesdale. A memorial talk will be held Saturday, January 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2756 Lake Ariel Hwy. in Honesdale. Private interment will be at Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst, PA.
Melissa Covey, 42, of Yulan, NY, passed away January 4, 2023 at home. Melissa was born December 21, 1980 in Port Jervis, NY. Funeral services were held January 8 at the Pond Eddy United Methodist Church in Pond Eddy, NY.
Henri R. Duffy, 66, of Liberty, NY, passed away December 26, 2022 at home. Henri was born December 31, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA. Funeral services and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
David Stuart Edwards, 85, of Honesdale, PA, passed away January 2, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. David was born August 21, 1937. There will be no memorial service or viewing. A private ceremony will be held this spring for the family.
Joseph W. Fiorilla Jr., 87, of Hawley, PA, passed away December 29, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. Joseph was born March 9, 1935 in Paterson, NJ. A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date to be announced.
Henry E. Foca Jr., 74, of Honesdale, PA, passed away December 13, 2022 at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Henry was born August 14, 1948 in Clifton, NJ. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 6 p.m. at Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. in Honesdale. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
Ronald E. Gorr, 87, of Hortonville, NY, passed away December 24, 2022 at home. Ronald was born March 8, 1935 in Callicoon, NY. Graveside services were held January 3 at the Hortonville Cemetery. A celebration of Ron’s life was held January 7 at the Hortonville Fire House.

Elizabeth was born May 23, 1934 in Ayrshire, Scotland. The family will receive friends at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St. in Milford, PA, on Sunday, January 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 15 at 3 p.m.

Loretta M. Pistilli, 70, of Livingston Manor, NY, passed away January 7, 2023 at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. Loretta was born August 27, 1952 in Liberty. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs, NY.
Carrie E. VanOrden, 86, of Beach Lake, PA, passed away December 29, 2022 at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carbondale, PA. Carrie was born December 25, 1936 in Pine Mill, PA. Funeral services were held January 6 in the Equinunk United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the spring in the Pine Mill Cemetery.
