A prayer service was held October 22 at Teeters’ Funeral Chapel in Hawley. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Trenton, NJ.

George J. Herzog, 95, of Honesdale, PA, passed away October 22, 2022. George was born May 1, 1927 in Honesdale. A Mass of Christian burial was held October 25 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale. Interment with military honors followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

James Grover Kober, 78, of Greeley, PA, passed away October 20, 2022 at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center in Lake Ariel, PA. James was born May 1, 1944 in Butler, PA. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29 at 2 p.m. at Teeters’ East Chapel, 507 Church St. in Hawley, PA. Inurnment will be in St. Vincent De Paul Church Cemetery in Frackville, PA.

Richard ‘Dick’ James Powner

Richard “Dick” James Powner, 82, of White Mills, PA, passed away October 18, 2022 at home. Richard was born March 30, 1940 in Paterson, NJ. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 5, at 2 p.m. at the White Mills Fire Hall.
