Lynda Jean Drolet, 71, of Greeley, PA and formerly of Wallington, NJ, passed away April 14, 2023 at home. Lynda was born April 17, 1951 in Lakewood, NJ. The family will receive friends at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on April 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 4 p.m.

Philip Louis Goyette Jr., 85, of Honesdale, PA, passed away March 4, 2023 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL. Philip was born September 27, 1937 in Bridgeport, CT. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 29 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Honesdale.

Joyce Emily Shaffer memorial service

There will be a memorial service for Joyce Emily (Mohn) Shaffer at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 7 and a reception to follow; both will be held at the Central House Family Resort, 81 Milanville Rd. in Beach Lake, PA. 

Joyce passed away January 25, 2023. She was married to the late Lloyd Marshall Shaffer and is survived by her three children: Cheri Etling of Swoope, VA; Gary Shaffer of Narrowsburg, NY; and Debra Schueler of Dingmans Ferry, PA.
