LIBERTY, NY and PARKSVILLE, NY — The Dove-Daffodil-Dash, honoring children who died in the Holocaust and in marginalized communities, will take place over three separate days.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13 at Creekside Park in Liberty, 250 yellow daffodil bulbs will be planted as part of the Worldwide Daffodil Project, commemorating the children who perished in the Holocaust and in marginalized communities. Learn more about the project at www.daffodilproject.net.

Art materials will also be available that day so all can create a Creekside Tapestry on the theme of Hope, Sanctuary, Compassion and Community.”

On Sunday, October 15, the Daffodil Dash takes off at 12:30 p.m. from Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary,

89 Ahrens Rd. in Parksville and concludes at Creekside Park.
