BETHANY, PA — The village of Bethany will hold its annual Christmas celebration at the Bethany Public Library and in the adjacent park on Saturday, December 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is a joint venture between the Bethany Public Library, the Bethany Historical Society, the Bethany Presbyterian Church and the Bethany Community Church.
Here are some of the events:
Live sheep and a shepherd in the park,
A performance by the Honesdale High School Choir at 11 a.m.,
A train and putz house display—putz houses are small houses used to decorate Nativity scenes, wreaths, Christmas trees and more,
Crafts for young and not-so-young,
Refreshments for everyone and
A visit from Santa himself.
There is no charge for this community event.
