LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — The SUNY Sullivan Career Center will host a career and job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 in the E Lobby on the SUNY Sullivan campus.
The fair is open to students and the public, and organizers have invited some of the largest local and regional employers.
Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring their resumes.
“There is a labor shortage in the county,” said Klu Padu, career development and transfer advisor. “This event will provide unparalleled networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect directly with representatives from diverse industries and companies.”
The employers include Garnet Health, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Bethel Woods, Legoland, Jeff Bank, the Arc Greater Hudson Valley, The Center for Discovery and St. Lawrence Health.
If needed, participants can work with the college’s career center staff to create a resume. Attendees can also have professional headshots taken in the on-campus photography studio.
For more information, call 845/434-5750 ext. 4202 or email careercenter@sunysullivan.edu.
