DINGMANS FERRY, PA — Bears, Webelos and Scouts are all welcome at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) for a day of badge work at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 4. 

Bear Scouts can work on their Fur, Feathers and Ferns badges; Webelos will work on Into the Wild badges; and Scouts can complete their Mammal Studies badges. 

All participants must be supervised by a parent or troop leader.

The cost for the full-day event is $25. Payment is required at registration. 

On Sunday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, kids can try Wacky Science Adventures at PEEC. 

All are invited to put on lab coats and conduct experiments—make oobleck and slime, and attempt to launch a rocket into space. 

The cost is $5.

Registration is required for both programs.
