LONG EDDY — The Basket Historical Society will hold its next monthly meeting on Saturday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the museum. The meeting is open to the public.

The museum will then be open from 12 noon to 2 p.m. to welcome visitors during the first annual Sullivan County Museums Weekend.

At the Basket Historical Society, there will be activities for children (outdoors if weather permits).

Visitors can tour the museum and learn more about the history of the Upper Delaware River Valley.

Admission is free.

The museum will also be open from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 30.
