MONTICELLO, NY — Barbi Neumann-Marty this week received the SYDA Foundation Community Service Award 2023.

She is the senior unit director of the Town of Wallkill Boys and Girls Club, which serves North Orange and Sullivan counties. She is also a community-based provider for the Children’s Home, is a Rotarian, and is committed to caring for animals in need. 

She was honored at a ceremony held at the Sullivan County Government Center on November 15.

The award recognizes those who perform good works that benefit the Sullivan County community and to encourage an ongoing spirit and practice of community service.
