LONG EDDY, NY — River Rep Theatre will present a staged reading of  Yasmina Reza's international hit play, “Art” at 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 13 at the Rock Valley Schoolhouse.

The play is described as a lacerating comedy that dissects the bonds between three friends. One mocks another for buying an expensive all-white contemporary painting, and the third is stuck in the uncomfortable middle. 

The winner of the Tony Award for Best Comedy, “Art” has been produced in 45 countries and translated into over 30 languages. This reading stars Arthur Aulisi, River Rep artistic director Christopher Peditto and Gregory Thomas.

The admission cost is a $10 donation.

There is no reserved seating, so attendees need to arrive on time.
