ELDRED, NY — Lumiri Tubo brings soulful and heartfelt renditions of contemporary, jazz, blues and popular standards to the Eldred Preserve at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 6.

Tubo has lived in Sullivan County for most of her life. She kicked off her cabaret career at the Bradstan Country Hotel over 20 years ago, and has performed in “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” “The King and I” and “A Raisin in the Sun,” among other shows.

Regarded as “a compelling singer who brings her own style to every nuance and colorful passage,” by Backstage magazine, Tubo’s interpretations, coupled with her outstanding vocal ability, have earned her multiple awards, including a Bistro Award and the MAC Hanson Award.
