Posted

HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre (HPAC), Sullivan Allies Leading Together (SALT), Gender Equality New York (GENY), and the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre (HPAC) will hold an LGBTQIA+ town hall and community conversation at HPAC from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The event will include a short “Gender 101” and be followed by a community conversation format; audience members can talk about issues, needs, questions and concerns.

The goal is to create a constructive exchange of ideas as the groups involved look to create a better, safer and more equitable future in Sullivan County and New York State for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

All are welcome to attend.

Participants are asked to be respectful; the space will be safe and inclusive.

HPAC is located at 219 Main St.

There is no charge to attend and registration is not required.

To learn more, call HPAC at 845/985-4722.
