DINGMANS FERRY, PA — The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will host an Edible & Medicinal Plant Walk at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 14.
Nature provides food and natural remedies for us in the form of many plants, a PEEC spokesperson said, and the center will host a hike focused on wild edible and medicinal plants.
No collecting will be done.

The cost is $5 per person.
PEEC will hold a volunteer day on Sunday, September 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on PEEC’s grounds.
You can help out with seasonal projects and learn more about volunteering at the center.
There’s no charge, but preregistration is required. Call 570/828-2319.
PEEC is located at 538 Emery Rd.
