A delicious way to get your dairy

Strawberry milk

2 cups strawberries, hulled and diced 1/4-1/2 cup white sugar

1 2/3 cups water

5 cups milk

Place all ingredients except the milk in a medium pot over medium-high heat. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook, stirring often, for 8-10 minutes. Remove the strawberry mix from heat.

Strain the strawberry mix through a fine-mesh strainer placed over a clean bowl. Once all juice has been strained out, discard the strawberries. Allow juice to cool and store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

To make a single serving of strawberry milk, mix together 1 cup of cold milk with 3 to 4 tablespoons of the juice. Stir or shake.
