Bees need us. They are being killed by neurotoxins called neonicotinoids (neonics for short). Just one neonic-treated corn seed has enough active ingredients to kill 250,000 bees. When neonics in treated corn and soybean seeds became more toxic, bee die-off increased. Phyllis Gail Bishop, 79, of Honesdale, PA, passed away December 3, 2022 at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center in Lake Ariel, PA. Phyllis was born March 14, 1943 in White Mills, PA. Funeral services were held December 10 at Hessling Murray Funeral Home in Honesdale. Private interment was held at the Indian Orchard Cemetery. more
