Roscoe falls in state opener

NEWBURGH, NY — Following in the footsteps of their Section IX victory over the Wildcats of Livingston Manor on March 1, the Roscoe Blue Devils played the Section XI winners on March 5 at Mount Saint Mary College in the opening round of the state championship.

Manor tumbles in state opener

NEWBURGH, NY — After winning the Section IX Class D Championship Girls Basketball title on February 28, the Livingston Manor Lady Wildcats (6-13) took on the Lady Knights of Smithtown Christian (10-7) on March 4 at Mount Saint Mary College in the opening salvo of the 2018-2019 state championship.

Yellowjackets stung in Section IX Class D championship

NEWBURGH, NY — Lindsey Rau, a gently-spoken senior guard for the Livingston Manor Lady Wildcats, ruled the day in her team’s win over the Lady Yellowjackets of Eldred.

Blue Devils maul bears in regular season finale

“Play Hard. Play Smart. Play Together,” is the inspiration logo printed on the back of the Tri-Valley Bears warm-up jerseys.

That sentiment rang true for both the home team Blue Devils of Roscoe and the Tri-Valley Bears in the boys varsity league match-up on Tuesday, February 19.

Only a matter of time

ROSCOE, NY – The end result wasn’t really in doubt, as the Lady Bulldogs of Sullivan West (15-4) routed the home team Lady Devils (0-20) by a 41-point margin of victory.

On Friday, February 22, Sullivan West defeated Roscoe 55-14 in the final regular season game for both squads.
