Sullivan West derailed in overtime

MIDDLETOWN, NY – It was all over in a blazing flash.

On Tuesday, October 23, the number-four ranked Sullivan West Lady Bulldogs faced off against the Lady Blazers of Millbrook in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association’s (NYSPHSAA) Section IX 2018-19 Class C girls' soccer championship match.

Ahart gets state ‘Amazing Person’ award

ROSCOE, NY — Fred Ahart has been selected as this year’s recipient of the “Amazing Person Award for Coaching” by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. The award will be presented in a ceremony at the Turning Stone Convention Center in Verona on Thursday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m.

GLEN SPEY, NY – There was an extra competitor out there on the soccer field.

On Tuesday, October 16, the home team Lady Yellowjackets of Eldred hosted the Sullivan West Lady Bulldogs in a non-league girl’s varsity soccer match.

But wait a second, that’s only a couple of teams.

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY -  Zap! Pow! Kaboom! Zoinks! Shazam!

On Wednesday, October 17, the home team Bulldogs of Sullivan West (3-9) took on their rivals the Eldred Yellowjackets (6-7) in a boy’s varsity soccer match that at times seemed to be right out of an action comic book.
