HONESDALE, PA — May 1 marked the fourth graduation of the Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) Medical Assistant (MA) Training Program. And the application deadline for the next round of classes is Wednesday, May 29.
Congratulations were offered to Amber Antidormi, who completed the National Institute of Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA) course and successfully passed her MA certification exam.
WMCHC’s MA program offers students paid tuition, employment during training and a position within the organization as an MA.
Antidormi, who was employed as a medical secretary at Lake Region Walk-In Care, will be transitioning to her new role as an MA.
Anyone interested in being part of the next cohort in the WMCHC’s MA Training Program—the program starts Tuesday, September 3—should visit chcandme.org or email purdyvi@wmh.org for information.
The application deadline is Wednesday, May 29.
