LIBERTY, NY — All are invited to a weekend of discussions and music, part of the ongoing “Voices of Survivors” exhibition at the Liberty Museum and Arts Center.

The works on display and the people who speak reflect and humanize the voices of survivors across the generations of children, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and parents, said organizer Hope Blecher.

The following people will speak:

Friday, May 31: At 2 p.m., Dr. Richard Stein, a son of survivors, will speak.

His talk is followed at 2:45 p.m. by musical duo Ira and Julia Levin.

Saturday, June 1: At 12 noon, Ariel Shanberg, grandson of a survivor and the executive director of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance will speak.

Then Tina H., a poet and the daughter of survivors of the Armenian genocide, will speak at 1:30 p.m.

At 2 p.m., songwriter and musician Myrna Marcarian will perform.

And the day will close at 3 p.m. with a family presentation by Pearl, Rafael and Sheila Zayas, relatives of a branch of the Grossinger family.

Sunday, June 2: At 1:30 p.m., Eva Bocskor, survivor of the Holocaust, will speak.

She will be followed at 2:30 p.m. with music by musician and teacher Sarah Weber.

The museum is open from Fridays through Sundays, 12 noon to 4 p.m.

The Liberty Museum and Arts Center is located at 46 S. Main St.
