The May 29 Memorial Day remembrance service at the Ten Mile River Baptist Church included a POW ceremony. The ceremony features a small table, covered with a white table cloth, single red rose, red ribbon, slice of lemon, an upside down glass, salt and a single candle. Each element challenges us to remember our POWs and MIA soldiers until they come home. VFW Post 6427 Commander Peter Carmeci worked with Ralph Huebner is presenting this portion of the remembrance service.
