MONTICELLO, NY — The Monticello Elks Lodge #1544 will hold its Soccer Shoot competition for boys and girls ages 13 and under (as of January 1 of this year) on Saturday, June 15 at Somerville Field in Monticello. The contest begins at 12 noon.

 The soccer shoot is an annual competition held nationally to provide a fun, positive character-building activity for local youth. Winners from this local competition advance to the East Central District Championship. The Elks Lodge will cover travel expenses for those advancing beyond the district level.
