NARROWSBURG, NY — Roger Brinkerhoff, licensed clinical social worker, will lead group sessions on how to cope with anxiety and depression, at River Family Wellness starting in September. There will be free initial sessions on Wednesday, September 5 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, September 8 at 11:30 a.m. Subsequent sessions will be charged on a sliding scale of $9 to $15 per person.
We are born to grow; to expand our awareness of life. When there is an obstacle to expansion, we experience pain, which often takes the form of anxiety and/or depression. Identifying and addressing that obstacle frequently leads to relief and a return to the natural, balanced, expanding state. This loosely structured, interactive group discussion is designed to inspire insight into this issue for participants.
