As April wraps up, it's a time for both looking back and looking forward. Spring is in full swing, bringing fresh energy and new beginnings. I for one am looking forward to getting back in the garden and taking warm-weather walks!

Have a look at a few events and activities in our community and locally:

There will be a penny social at the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 27. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and calling begins at 12:30 p.m. Hot dogs and soda will be for sale. Many great prices and raffles, and fun for all. The church is in need of runners—a job perfect for school-age kids. Runners help deliver prizes to the winners during the penny social.
