ELDRED, NY — Tony-nominated performer Ann Hampton Callaway, an American pop and jazz artist, brings her talents back to The Eldred Preserve with her new show, “Finding Beauty: Inspired Classics + Originals,” on Sunday, August 18 at 7 p.m.

The show features classics from her songwriting inspirations—Carole King, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Paul Simon and many more—along with songs from her new CD, titled “Finding Beauty, Originals, Vol. 1.” 

Callaway has written many top hits, such as Barbra Streisand’s “At the Same Time,” which will be performed on Sunday, along with new material written with Alan Bergman, Melissa Manchester and Amanda McBroom.

A leading champion of the Great American Songbook, Callaway has made her mark as a singer, pianist, composer, lyricist, arranger, actress, educator, TV host and producer. She was voted by Broadway World as “Entertainer of the Year” in 2022 and “Best Jazz Vocalist” two years in a row. Callaway is best known for her Tony-nominated performance in the popular Broadway musical “Swing!”

Her honors include a Theater World Award, 16 MAC Awards, several Bistro Awards and many more. She is also a member of the Women Songwriters Hall of Fame.
